All Aboard! Welcome to the first of many posts celebrating one of Colorado Springs’ hidden treasures — the Pikes Peak Trolley Museum!

Since 1982, this remarkable museum has been dedicated to preserving and restoring historic trolleys, lovingly brought back to life by an incredible team of passionate volunteers. These same folks also lead fascinating tours, sharing stories and insights that bring the golden age of streetcars roaring back to life.

📍 Open Wednesday through Saturday, 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM, year-round, the museum is located in the historic Rock Island Roundhouse — a fitting home to explore the legacy of the Colorado Springs Trolley System and the Rock Island Railroad.

Stay tuned for more stories, behind-the-scenes updates, and deep dives into local rail history. Don’t forget to follow, comment, and let us know what pieces of the past you’re curious about — your input might just inspire our next post!

We also have a special announcement: COMING SOON  –
